Roger was a native of the northwest. He was born in Naches, Washington.
He graduated from Central Washington University. He did graduate work at the Art Center School and the University of Southern California . His art has been sold around the world.During his career Roger created large and small sculpture pieces, mastered the art of pastel portraiture, worked with pen and ink drawings, watercolors, acrylics, and oil painting. He created an extensive line of hand-pulled silkscreen prints called serigraphs. His work is renowned throughout the United States.
